What will it take to get you to perform better golf?

I'll bet you've tried the gimmicky golf training aids.

Did they work?

How about equipment?

How many drivers do you have in your garage?

Am I getting your attention yet?

My approach to perform better golf is through training your BODY,
not buying more equipment or taking more lessons.

It is your BODY that plays the game, so focus on it and the sky
is the limit.

I want you to think of yourself as an athlete.

You probably were one at some point in your life.

Did you ever do a workout for that sport you participated in?

I'll be the answer is yes.

Well now your sport is golf.

And to perform better golf means training specific to golf.

Not going into a gym and plopping down on a machine.

Not working out like a body builder.

But doing exercises that are very similar to your golf swing with
resistance.

It angers me when I see all these so-called golf fitness books,
programs and websites that say they are for golfers, but when I look
into them, they are all just general fitness programs.

I don't want you to waste your time with programs like this.

I want you to do exercises that will have an immediate impact on
your game.

That will give you the quickest return on your time and money
investment.

Doesn't that sound like a winner?

I have spent the better part of the last decade developing programs,
books, dvds and online sites to both educate the golfer and give
them easy-to-implement golf fitness exercises and programs that
will have a direct impact on their game.

To perform better golf you need to take this approach.

If you aren't a believer yet, just ask yourself if your game has
improved in the last 6 months.

Be honest. Has it?

If not, what are you currently doing that you need to change?

Training your body with light weights, exercise tubing, medicine
balls and exercise balls is the easiest, and most affordable way to accomplish your golfing goals.

Just make sure when researching programs whether it be on the net
or in a bookstore, that they don't spend all their time saying how
great they are or how 'comprehensive' their programs are' but
instead talk to you directly.

After reading this article'don't hesitate for a second. Get on Google
or MSN or even Yahoo and type in Golf Fitness or Golf Training
and see what's out there.

Usually the ones near the top are the most credible.

Spend a little time researching these results.

FYI - Don't be mislead by the results at the very top of the page.

They are "paid ads". To avoid wasting time with these, go to
the first couple of 'real results' right below the highlighted ones.

The end result is to perform better golf!

Using exercise for golf to strengthen your swing could be one of
the wisest decisions you've ever make in regards to improving
power and distance.

Have you tried those gimmicky training aids in hopes to strengthen
your swing?

If so, were you successful?

I can take a guess, but I won't get on you too much.

Most of the touring pros are now using exercise for golf
to strengthen their swing and have seen their driving distance
go way up!

And yes'their equipment has a little bit to do with it,
but can't take all the credit.

I have said thousands of times, 'it's your BODY that plays the game,
not your equipment'.

Doesn't that make sense to you?

Like any athlete'he or she spends a huge amount of time
strengthening their muscles specific to their sport.

Why wouldn't you as a golfer do the same thing?

Hopefully after reading this article you'll give it strong consideration.

Using exercise for golf to strengthen your swing entails the use of a stability ball, exercise tubing, handweights and even a weighted
medicine ball.

These are all inexpensive golf training tools that can have a dramatic
affect on your game.

I can't tell you how many golfers (over 100 so far!) have emailed
me telling me their amazing improvements in power, distance
and accuracy from using exercise for golf to strengthen their swing.

It's a very simple approach that won't leave you sweating like a pig
and spending hours upon hours in your gym.

In fact'you don't need a gym to do the kind of golf training
I'm talking about.

With the above golf training equipment, you can do a simple
golf exercise program in less than 30 minutes 'in your home'.

Now that's time-savings and even financial savings not having to
keep up a gym membership.

The premise of using exercise golf golf to strengthen your swing
is one that warrants quick results with a minimal time requirement.

In just eight weeks of a good strength training program,
many golfers have found that their game significantly improved,
especially when it came to their golf swing.

They also were less likely to injure themselves since their flexibility
had improved as well.

So, if you want to look better, feel a lot better,
and play your golf game better,
then why not try some golf specific strength training yourself!
(: - )

The following are a few helpful routines that are specifically
designed for golfers that can be a huge help.

Dumbbell Golf Swing

One great exercise that will help you increase your strength
to improve your golf game is doing the dumbbell golf swing.

All you’ll need is a single dumbbell, and you can choose one that is a comfortable weight.

Use the dumbbell to imitate a golf backswing,
and try to do 15 reps of this exercise.

It should not be hard for you to do the 15 reps, and it will help you
to build the strength in your arms, so once you start swinging your
golf club, you’ll have even more power and distance to your drives.

Of course you don’t have to limit this exercise to just the backswing,
but you can break down your swing and use this for various parts of
the swing to build up your strength for a better game.

Tubing Training for Golfers

Another great exercise that can provide golf specific strength training includes using special exercise tubing.

What you want to do is have exercise tubing attached to a door about mid height.

Then, start making various golf swings all the way through with the tubing providing resistance. When you use the tubing, you’ll find that it provides resistance on all sides and every part of your sing will be strengthened as well.

You don’t have to continually buy heavier weights, but you can continue this routine of using the tubing to strengthen your muscles and improve your swing.

Medicine Ball Swing

All you’ll need for this exercise is a medicine ball that is weighted.

Take the medicine ball and hold it and then begin swinging it back and forth in the same way that you would a golf club.

This is a great training exercise for golfers, and it works on the muscles that you specifically use for your golf swing.

This type of an exercise works your core muscles as well, and when you work on strengthening your core, then you’ll be able to generate a swing that is more powerful, which results in a better club head speed as well.

While each of these specific exercises are great for building up your body for golf, overall strength training should be used as well to make sure that all of the muscles of the body are in shape.

You use many muscles for swinging a golf club, so you’ll need to build up all of your muscles. Of course these exercises listed are great for targeting the muscles that are the most used when you swing your golf club.

The great thing about these exercises is that they can be done at home and the equipment that you’ll need for them is easy to find, portable, and inexpensive as well.

So, you don’t have to visit the gym all the time to get golf specific strength training.

You can actually do all of this in your own home, so you really have no excuses.

And in the end, if you truly-truly want to better your golf game, it is time to quit putting it off.

You’ve been provided with some great strength training exercises that are specifically designed to improve your golf game, and all you need to do is to start using these exercises a few times a week.

Give yourself four to eight weeks, and you’ll be out there on the golf course whipping up on your buddies, and they’ll be wanting to know your secret.

There are no shortcuts to any place worth going!
